Finishing feels soooo good, I'm on to my next project. My niece is having a baby on February 14th and I'm in need of a baby quilt. She wants a camouflage patterned quilt...yuk! I'm having a hard time working with these colors and talk about a challenge, I can't come up with a design. They won't take care of it, so I don't want to put a lot of work in it.
Losing weight is a wonderful phrase to say. A lot of bloggers show us the inside of their houses, so I thought I might show you some of my house. This is my kitchen, where all the opposite of that phrase, losing weight, happens...but, you we gotta do it...eat..smile.

Very nice peek into a corner of you home - very cheery and I love the view. I have to agree with you on the camouflage fabric, not very inspiring.
You had left a message on my blog about the 9-Patch and Hourglass and yes, it is the same one you are working on and I agree not very quick and easy. I'm kinda stressing over putting on that mitered border, so here I am blog-hopping until it's too late to start working on it.
What a gorgeous kitchen, so close to Nature :)
And I thought I had a challenge working in 'hessian' (burlap to you in the US) - that will be one interesting baby quilt
