First Quilt Finished for 2009

This is the Kitchen Roosters quilt that is for all intents and purposes, complete!  Finito! Woohoo!

All I've got left to do to this quilt, to add this to the ever growing stack of quilts in my house, is to finish the binding and add a label.  As you can see the binding needs to be whipped stitched to the back, which is a vintage table cloth.  I've had to add on to the backing to match the front edge so I could bind it and not cut off the quilt top front design.

And so keeping with my "weight loss win win".  Here's the scales which I use for food as my body scales I don't think would register this amount.

Ta Da!  1.12 pounds is what the Kitchen Roosters weighs.  So take off 1.12 for a quilt and 1.7 for my body and you get, 2.92.  Now since this is totally close enough to 3, I'm rounding up.

235 lbs. beginning weight minus 3 lbs. and I'm down to 232 overall weight, which includes my UFO's in a basket and body weight.
