Project Runway Withdrawals?

For those of you that have been watching Project Runway and you know Seth won, you might be interested in how the old world of the Haute Couture houses work. Complete with seamstresses in white coats, like doctors, the hand sewn gowns designed by Valentino are beautiful. If you have Netflix, you can watch it instantly on your computer.

Fun Day Trip in Louisville

The heavens held closed, mostly and we went to town for a very nice day in Louisville. Our day trip began with a stop for lunch at Queen of Sheba. It's an Ethiopian restaurant. We always get the vegetarian combination for 2.

Next we headed to the Louisville Zoo and saw the new baby giraffe. I have another pattern by the woman that designed the horse quilt pattern, which is a giraffe. It's all about the neck and eyelashes with a giraffe. So cute! That might be my next quilt in the cue.

After walking for about an hour, we next went to the Louisville Science Center to see the IMAX film Hubble. What it is capable boggles the mind. What it can see is amazing.
