Since I've been watching a lot of TV lately, while my daughter Jennifer goes through her cancer treatments, I've happened upon the Martha Stewart Show. I'm so happy that she's bringing her high standards and has such regard for quilters, seamstresses and the like. She's been showing some of the lovely clothes she made years ago, but, seem to be in fashion today. Everything old is new again, styles of quilting and clothing are no exception.
Martha is nothing if not a money magnet. She did not get to be the first billionaire female by missing opportunities to make money. This only proves what a new frontier economic world we sewers live in and probably have known existed, but, didn't want other people to know...smile.

Hi Julie -
Thanks for stopping by my blog - it's nice to meet you!
I'd love to see more shots of your hexagon pattern. The top two pictures from your June 21st post won't load, for some reason. I'm hand-sewing little hexagons, too - made with Mary Engelbreit fabrics (see my May 25th post, “Fabric Flowers.”) I have NO idea what to do with my creations (they're just so much fun to make!) so I'm intrigued by your pattern.
You’ve got a lot on your plate right now. I’m glad you’re finding solace in quilting. I'm sending positive thoughts and prayers your way, for a quick recovery for your daughter, and peace for you.
Take care.
I didn't know Martha Stewart had anything about quilting! Interesting. I think quilting seemed very old-fashioned for awhile, but now it's getting trendy. Yay!
